40 ART Exhibit

Opening Reception July 23, 7-9 p.m.
Request for submissions:

• All pieces submitted will be exhibited
• 2 pieces, $5 submission fee for either one or two pieces
• Original art (no giclee reproductions), any subject, any media
• 5” x 7” finished size
• Need not be matted
• Unframed - no glass
  
• Not signed on front!
  
• Submissions accepted 7/12 -7/16
• All works sell for $40, with $25 to artist, $15 to Phoenix

Please plan to attend the Opening, (if possible) so that you may sign your pieces if requested, when sold.

Pick up dates for unsold or pieces are July 27 – Aug 3. Phoenix will not be responsible for holding pieces after that date without prior arrangement.

Artists’ commission checks will be sent by August 3, 2010

The twist of the show is that all pieces are sold anonymously. Once you have purchased a piece, the artist’s name is revealed. A purchase might reveal that for $40 one has acquired the work of one of the area’s top artists, or the work of an unknown artist to watch out for.
This year purchases are ‘cash and carry’, i.e. at the time of purchase you may take the piece with you.red the work of one of the areaís top artists or the work of an unknown artist to watch out for.
